The foundation certificate in science and engineering provides international students with a guaranteed progression route to an undergraduate science or engineering degree at the University of Brighton.
The course comprises of language, study skills and subject-specific modules to ensure you receive the best preparation for university success in the UK.
Progression to your chosen degree at the university is guaranteed if you pass the foundation course to the required level. There are a number of degree choices which include MPharm – the only UK degree acceptable for registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council!

Our Summer courses start from May – July 2012, depending on your English level and academic requirements.
Autumn courses start between September and November 2012
Course length
2 – 5 terms.
Academic entry requirements
Successful completion of minimum 11 years of education.
For some countries we require completion of 12 years of education plus mathematics and science at GCSE grade C or equivalent.
English language entry requirements
Minimum IELTS 4.0 to 5.5 or equivalent
SELT depending on course length.
Integrated English
If you would like to add Integrated English modules to your course, or need to add them to meet the minimum English requirements, the course length and price will be adjusted accordingly. Ask us for more information!
