Entry requirements

In general, entry to our foundation certificate courses requires you to have passed Grade 11 (grade 12 for some countries) and have IELTS 5.5 (two term course) or 5.0 (three term course). Specific entry requirements for different countries are listed below.

All entry requirements are minimum grades only and must be from approved institutions of higher education.

For information on entry requirements for your country or whether a qualification is from an approved institution please contact us. All admissions decisions are at the sole discretion of the College.

English language ability

You will need to show proof of English language ability – usually an IELTS test (or equivalent SELT). A higher IELTS score means your course will be shorter and you can progress to the University of Brighton more quickly.
