IAT-Kaplan is an exciting new partnership between the Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) and Kaplan International Colleges (Kaplan). IAT has an excellent reputation in providing Science and Technology education to the Emirates, while Kaplan International Colleges has a network of International Colleges partnered with prestigious universities around the world.We have developed a range of preparation courses that allow students to combine academic English and study skills with specialist science or business subject knowledge. Upon successful completion of the preparation course students are guaranteed progression to one of three prestigious institutions in the United Arab Emirates; a world leading location.

Courses

Our courses encourage pupils to develop themselves professionally and linguistically. The focus is on increasing each student’s English language level, developing their confidence in dealing with career related situations in English, and integrating subject-specific modules related to their IAT progression choice. Courses offered are:

  • English pre-entry course with emphasis on equipping students with the English language skills needed to achieve an IELTS of 3.0 and progress to a foundation course.
  • Foundation Certificate level 1 which aims to take each student’s English to the next level and provide subject-specific modules for progression on to: – Fatima College of Health Sciences (Science pathway) or – Logistics Academy (Business pathway)
  • Foundation Certificate level 2, taking English to the next level and combining the course with subject-specific modules for progression on to: – Al Ain International Aviation Academy (Aviation pathway)

Academies

IAT-Kaplan’s courses take place at two campuses:

  • On the beautiful IAT Abu Dhabi campus right in the heart of Abu Dhabi City. Students will have full access to the campus facilities and resources including well-equipped teaching rooms, high-quality library and computing facilities and a campus cafeteria.
  • The state-of-the-art Al Ain campus with modern classrooms, wireless internet access, library and learning resource centre, counselling service, cafeteria and health centre.

On successful completion of a Foundation Certificate to the required level you will guaranteed a place at IAT to study at one of these prestigious academies:
