Undergraduate scholarships
If you are an undergraduate international student that has progressed from your preparation course at Glasgow International College to the University of Glasgow, you will be eligible for an undergraduate education scholarship if you:
- Are holding an offer to any undergraduate subject at the University
- Have made an impression with your overall effort and performance during your course at the College
The College funds two undergraduate scholarships as one-off payments to eligible students. Each award is worth £3,000!
These scholarships are based on your academic performance, attendance and a personal statement.
Postgraduate scholarships
The University of Glasgow provides three postgraduate education scholarships worth £2,000 each for international students that have:
- Progressed onto a postgraduate university course in either Social Sciences, Science and Engineering or Veterinary and Life Sciences
- Demonstrated excellent attendance in class (at least 90%)
- Performed exceptionally well during their studies through both class and College participation, achieving an overall pass rate of 65% or above
- Produced a personal statement with examples proving why they deserve to receive an award
All scholarships are paid once you have progressed from the College onto your degree course at the University of Glasgow, and are awarded at the full discretion of the University of Glasgow.
