Glasgow International College is a joint education partnership with the University of Glasgow. When the College opened in 2007, it was the first partnership of its kind anywhere in Scotland.
Science and Social Science students progress to the second year of a four-year undergraduate degree.
There are four Foundation programmes:
Foundation Certificate in Business
Foundation Certificate in Social Sciences
Foundation Certificate in Engineering
Foundation Certificate in Science
Fast Track Progression
Business and Engineering students progress to the Diploma programme and then into the third year of a four-year undergraduate degree.
There are two Pre-Masters programmes:
Pre-Masters in Business, Social Science and Law (options: Business and Marketing; Economics, Accounting and Finance; Social Sciences; Law)
Pre-Masters in Science and Engineering (options: Biomedical and Life Sciences; Engineering)
Upon successful completion of the Pre-Masters programme, students progress to the taught postgraduate degree of their choice.
Programmes at Glasgow International College start in September, January and May each year.
Pre-sessional English language starts at various times throughout the year. Students do not apply for pre-sessional language – it is automatically added to the offer, if appropriate.
