The application process wasn’t complicated and they replied to my application very quickly – it only took a day or two.

When I first arrived, I was surprised to find that such a large city was located in Scotland. Compared to the rest of Scotland, the weather is very good here. In Glasgow you can find anything you want to do.

Glasgow International College is good because it gives you a pathway into the Second Year of your chosen undergraduate degree programme. It also allows you to feel that you’re already at University because the course is very similar to the first year at University.

The staff at the college are kind and hospitable. The personal Learning Support Tutors are kind and always willing to help you. If you have a problem, they will always try and help you solve it.

My accommodation is nice and more than enough space to live in. My flatmates are friendly and it’s an enjoyable place to live in. I have made friends with people from lots of different cultures and they are all good people.

In my spare time I go to the cinema, play different kinds of sports and go out clubbing sometimes. You can find anything that you want to do in Glasgow.

I have found the local residents to be nicer, calmer and more hospitable than in England. I don’t find them difficult to understand.

When I return home after completing my degree, my English will be much better and I think that a good degree from Glasgow University will give me better job opportunities with more international corporations.

Glasgow International College provides a good opportunity to improve your English and study skills. People are very hospitable and you also meet many people from different cultures that are interesting and friendly."
