Molly Qi , China

I wanted to experience another culture and the UK is a country with a long history. I had many friends in the UK and they told me it was great here. The education system is very well known and respected.

London is a great city. In the centre it’s great for shopping and not too different from my home city. It’s true that the style of buildings is different and there is a different feeling, but after half a month here I am familiar with the city and feel at home.

My favorite thing about London is the people. They are very friendly. For example, a local recently told me how to get to Oxford Circus and China Town and was very helpful.

My accommodation (Pacific Court) is convenient for coming to the college, either by walking or on the bus.

I like the way the teachers help me with my studies here. We need to speak English every day and that is really helpful. I now find it much easier to understand English when it is spoken.
