Student Story
Nnamdi Oraedu, LIC student

"My first thought of Liverpool International College (LIC) was that I was very impressed and excited to start my studies here. The campus area is great with all the right facilities to help me do well in my course. I am studying a Graduate Diploma in Science and Engineering and the best thing about studying at LIC is the approachable nature of both the academic and non academic staff of the college which I believe is always very much instrumented to my great performance during my time at the college.

The course at LIC is patterned to various disciplines at the university. So, my course has really helped me to understand what I will study at the University of Liverpool and the educational system here which is quite different in my home country.

I would definitely recommend LIC. Personally LIC is a sure pathway for any international student who wants to achieve academic success and progression to the university. Studying here has certainly made me feel ready to progress on to the next step of my educational journey. "

Nnamdi Oraedu is from Nigeria and studied the Graduate Diploma in Science and Engineering at Liverpool International college.

Registration for the next course begins in March 2012.

Course length
Courses start at 2 terms, and can go up to 4 terms depending on your academic and English needs

Academic entry requirements
Entry to the Graduate Diploma requires you to have an undergraduate degree, equivalent to a UK Ordinary degree. Contact us to find out what the specific requirements your country are.

English language entry requirements
You will need to show proof of English language ability – usually an IELTS test (or equivalent Secure English Language Test – SELT). A higher IELTS score means your course will be shorter and you can progress to Liverpool University more quickly.
