Student Story
Hung, LIC student

I know that the education system in the UK is one of the best systems in the world, and I really wanted to go abroad. So I prepared myself by learning English at home before applying. I was told by many people that Liverpool International College (LIC) was the best place to do a Foundation Certificate so I chose to apply there.

Another reason I chose LIC was because I'm interested in the culture in Liverpool. During my time at the college I learnt about The Beatles and Anfield Stadium, and went to many festivals. I definitely made the right decision!

I think the biggest difference between living and studying in Vietnam and in the UK is that in the UK you have to do everything yourself. It ranges from choosing a place to live to doing housework all by myself - this is different to Vietnam. This has made me feel more confident than before.

What I like most about the college is that the staff are very kind to me and teachers always give me the best advice. The facilities are also wonderful and support me in many aspects.

I'm proud of what I've achieved at LIC and my friends and family are too. I would recommend LIC to other international students.
