Scholarships for international students
Whilst studying at Liverpool International College, our international students will have the chance to benefit from a number of scholarships that have been specially provided for them.
Funding international studies: Liverpool University
We know that making the decision to come to the UK to study can be expensive, and funding international studies is a big commitment.
The good news is that all non-clinical self-funded LIC students are automatically entitled to a £1,000 deduction from their annual tuition fees on successful progression to an undergraduate or postgraduate course at the University of Liverpool. This deduction is applied automatically – you are not required to apply for this.
Other student scholarship opportunities:
- Self-funded LIC students who achieve a distinction of 70% or above during their studies at the College and progress onto non-clinical undergraduate degrees at the University of Liverpool are awarded an annual £1,500 a year scholarship. Subsequent payments of this scholarship are dependent on you achieving 70% or more for each year of your degree studies. Again, this award is automatically given without you needing to apply.LIC is proud to congratulate 16 students who received this scholarship after completing their Foundation Certificate in April 2011
- LIC self-funded Graduate Diploma students who have excelled during their time at the College may be awarded a £2,000 merit award when they progress to postgraduate studies at the University. International students will have to submit an application for this funding, and the award is granted at the University’s discretion.
