About the College – a great foundation for your university degree course

Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) is a joint educational partnership between Kaplan International Colleges and Nottingham Trent University. Our courses provide international students with the best academic preparation for studying at a UK university. NTIC operates on Nottingham Trent University’s City campus as a fully integrated, affiliated college, providing comprehensive and high-quality foundation study courses on behalf of the University.

The excellent foundation of study that our students gain at NTIC is well proven. In 2007 the first group of NTIC students graduated from postgraduate degrees at NTU, three of them with Commendations.

In 2008, the group included a student with a Distinction and nine others were awarded Merits in management, computing, media and politics.

University preparation courses – many routes to studying at NTU

The teaching methods and learning experience have been designed specifically for students coming from a variety of education backgrounds overseas:

  • Pre-Sessional English helps students to improve their English Language ability and IELTS score.
  • Foundation Certificates lead to the first year of an undergraduate degree at Nottingham Trent University.
  • Diploma courses allow you to progress to the second year of an undergraduate degree at Nottingham Trent University.
  • Graduate Diploma courses prepare you for postgraduate study at Nottingham Trent University.
