Your pre-arrival checklist

Moving to study abroad can give you a lot to organise, and we want your transition to be as smooth and stress-free as possible. All the information regarding your stay in the UK and your academic course is sent with your Certificate of Enrolment. This gives you plenty of time to read everything before you pack your suitcase to go to the airport. Please read this information and follow the instructions carefully, so that you are fully prepared to study your university preparation course.

The checklist contains a list of documents that you will need to take with you before you leave your country. These documents will be needed when you register for your course at the College.

We can meet you at the airport!

The College arranges free transfer for international students from the airport to Nottingham, making your arrival in the UK as smooth as possible. Just arrive at Nottingham on one of the free transfer days and we will quickly transport you straight to your accommodation with the minimum amount of stress.

Induction at the College

All students beginning their academic courses receive a thorough orientation to the College and the local area.

We try to answer all your questions, for example:

• Where is the best shop for specialist food near my accommodation?
• What is the fastest way to travel between the City and Clifton campus?
• How do I register with the local doctor and the police?

We can help you with all these questions in regards to your academic courses and any concerns that you may have at your induction and orientation session.
