We will be delighted to receive your application to Sheffield International College. All students that apply to study at Sheffield International College will receive an admissions decision within two business days of receipt of your completed application form.

The application process explained

Every step of your application to SIC will be handled by Kaplan International Colleges. Watch this video to understand the application process and get some tips on common mistakes to avoid!

Application procedure


Step 1 – Fill in your application form



Step 2 – Attach copies of the following supporting documents:


  • Academic transcripts and examination results
  • English language test results (IELTS) if applicable

If your transcripts are not written in English you will need to include certified translations with the originals.


Step 3 – Offer letter


Within 3 working days of your application, you will be contacted by a Personal Education Planner who will let you know if we require any further documentation from you or if we are able to offer you a place at our college.

Any conditional or unconditional offers will be emailed to you.


Step 4 – Acceptance 


If you choose to accept your offer to study at SIC and The University of Sheffield, we will produce a CAS statement for your visa on receipt of your course deposit. Details of deposit amounts and payment methods can be found on our terms and conditions page.


Please note: There are no extra charges to apply to study at Sheffield International College London, and there are also no application deadlines. However, we do have deadlines for guaranteed accommodation on the campus and for the Early Acceptance Bursary, so we recommend that you apply as early as possible.
