Pre-sessional and Integrated English courses
Do you need to increase your English language ability and build confidence in using English before joining one of our university preparation courses?
If your English language skills are not strong enough to go straight on to our Foundation Certificate or Graduate Diploma courses at KIC London, we offer two types of English language preparation:
- Pre-sessional English preparation for Graduate Diploma students
- Integrated English for Foundation Certificate students
Our English language courses are extremely convenient because they are integrated with your pre-university course at KIC London, so you won’t need to apply for a separate visa to study English abroad.
When you apply: proving your English ability
Even if you choose to take one of our Pre-sessional English courses, you will need to show proof of your English language ability when you apply to one of our university preparation courses. This usually takes the form of an IELTS test (or equivalent). Prospective students are reccommended to sit the PTE Academic test (Pearson’s test of English academic). It’s fast, reliable and secure and consists of just a single three-hour session that covers all four skills. Available around the world, the test can be arranged with just 48 hours notice and results are typically available within five business days.
