Entry requirements
- In general, entry to a Foundation Certificate course requires you to have passed Grade 12 (or equivalent).
- In general, entry to the Graduate Diploma course requires you to have an undergraduate degree, equivalent to a UK Ordinary degree.
Proving your English language ability
You will need to show proof of your English language ability – usually an IELTS test (or equivalent). A higher IELTS score means that your pre-university course will be shorter and you will have a faster progression to the University of Westminster.
Prospective students can now sit the PTE Academic test (Pearson Test of English Academic). It’s fast, reliable and secure and consists of one single three-hour session covering all four skills. Available around the world, the test can be arranged with just 48 hours notice and results are typically available within five business days.
The table below shows the PTE Academic scores that will be required to study at the College:
| Course type | Required PTE Academic Score |
|---|---|
| Foundation Certificate, English preparation courses | 36 in each component |
| Graduate diploma | 51 in each component |
