Foundation Certificate

Taught at the International College in Nottingham, the Foundation Certificate for Petroleum Engineering equips international students with a range of subject-related knowledge and skills, English language capabilities and higher level study skills so that they are fully prepared to enter the second year at the University of Aberdeen.

Exit requirements

After completing the Foundation Certificate, students will progress to year 2 of their chosen degree at Aberdeen, if they meet the following entry requirements:

  • Overall Foundation Certificate grade of 55%, with 60% in FC020 (Applied Maths)
  • Overall English 60%
